Bright and Bold Wedding Inspiration

When planning this shoot, I was obsessed over the pantone color of the year, which is one of my personal favorites: periwinkle. I was also inspired by my 7 year old nieces who love unicorns. All while I was planning, I called this shoot "Unicorn Chic" which confused my friends and made them look at me as if I was planning a birthday party for my nieces instead of a wedding inspiration shoot.

The shoot all came together when I was introduced to the ever talented Cassidy who designed and modeled the dresses for this shoot. They became the focal point for everything from the cake and sweets to the flowers.

The lesson learned from this, is trust your vendors and their creative process. It may seem at first that your planner has gone off the rails planning a 7 year old birthday party instead of your wedding, but the creative process is not often understood by the most logical, linear thinkers. I pride myself in being able to shift and think both logically and creatively.

If you want a unique wedding experience that wholly expresses you, trust that your vendors both see this and know how to make something beautiful and surprising. Those are the best designs in my opinion.

I hope you enjoy this gallery as much as I enjoyed creating it.
