New Year.

The New Year is always a good time to set a new goal and reflect on the old goals you had. One of my own goals for 2019 is keeping up with this blog and adding more weddings and content. However, while 2018 for most was a challenge, the growth and blessings in my life are worth celebrating. So I dedicate this post to all of the things I celebrated in 2018!

1. Setting up this website.

This time last year, I set out to grow my personal business and break away from simply venue management. With this website, I was able to advertise my services in a manner and establish myself on my own terms. It has been the biggest leap of faith and I am so excited about the future.

2. Traveling with my husband Ryan.

2018 was a busy year professionally, but it was also a wonderful year of marriage with my husband. This year, my husband successfully took his first ever flight to New York City, and then took 9 more flights to Paris, London, Philadelphia, and Orlando all this year! I hope that 2019 is full of as many (hopefully more) adventures with my love.

3. Making memories with Friends.

Whenever I need a break from the hustle, I know my extended network of friends will be there. There were many celebrations in my friends lives as well from 30th birthdays, to new moves, to engagements, there is a lot to celebrate in my friend circle.

4. Loving my fur babies.

My beautiful babies were always by my side in 2018 through the tough moments and the little celebrations. Miles my cat is meaner than ever, but Fox balances him out with his sweet cuddles.

5. Growing into my body.

While I am no spring chicken and my metabolism hit a wall when I turned 30, I am celebrating my body for what it has gone through this year: the thick and thin. It has carried me through this year. I have to be grateful for all the beatings I have given it, from sleepless nights to the flu, it has survived. But I have also gotten to know it a bit better despite my jeans being a bit more snug.

6. Loving my family.

Family has been my support, my backbone, and my inspiration my whole life. No list would be complete without them.

7. Learning. Living. Growing.

If one isn't learning, one isn't living. 2018 has been a year of personal and professional growth and I am so thankful that I was able to experience it all. In 2019, I am setting the goal to wish for it, hope for it, dream of it, but by all means I am going to do it.

Happy New Year's Eve and many blessings to you and your family in 2019!
